Jazz in the Park

10 May 2014

HillClose’s Jazz in the Park event, held on Saturday 10 May, was enjoyed by more than 200 residents and locals. There was live music provided by local band, A2Z, free rides and face painting for the kids.

Carly Quinn was the lucky winner of a $150 voucher to the Harvey Road Tavern. See all the pictures from the evening!

Kids Day Out: January school holiday fun at HillClose

Over 180 children and their parents filled Harmony Park on January 21 for some fun in the sun! The kids cooled down on the slip 'n' slide, bounced around in the jumping castle and made funny faces in the art and craft tent.

Kids Day Out: school holiday fun at HillClose

More than 130 children and 40 parents flocked to Harmony Park at HillClose for school holiday fun!

Kids enjoyed free activities including climbing the rock wall, racing friends on the bungee run, playing cricket, flying kites and making beautiful sand art creations. Attendees enjoyed the free sausage sizzle, gourmet wraps and cold drinks. View the Kids Day Out images.

More than 150 residents and Gladstone locals attended the event. Attendees made a day of the event enjoying the sausage sizzle, live entertainment, jumping castles, face painting and the kids craft activities. Joshua Lait was announced the winner of the HillClose Park naming competition, with the entry ‘Harmony Park’  taking out the naming rights. Gladstone Mayor Cr Gail Sellers presented Joshua with a $500 bike voucher for the win. The competition was run in conjunction with Clinton State School and saw 31 students enter a park name.

Art in the Park

Around 400 people flocked to HillClose for Art in the Park on Saturday 24th November. Families were treated to fun and entertainment including sausage sizzle, food stalls, art market stalls showcasing our local artists and art activities!

The unveiling of our two public art pieces at the entrance and in the park created a stir so be sure to come and visit HillClose soon to see them! View the Art in the Park images.

HillClose Housewarming Party

The official launch of our Information and Sales Centre on Saturday June 2nd. Zinc 927AM were broadcasting live and guest enjoyed a BBQ, face painting and a jumping castle to celebrate the new shape of living at HillClose.
